On July 7, 2024, BAU International University Batumi hosted a significant meeting with students. The initiative group EmpowerHer led this practical session to enhance awareness about HPV vaccination and safety.

During the session, students were educated on the intramuscular administration of the HPV vaccine and had the opportunity to practice performing PAP tests on manikins. Additionally, they observed and compared healthy cervical tissues with those affected by cervical cancer in the pathology lab.

This meeting was crucial in providing students with hands-on experience and essential knowledge about HPV prevention and cervical health. By understanding the importance of vaccination and regular screenings, students are now better prepared to advocate for health and safety within their communities.
