- Professor – 1 position (Affiliated)
- Associate Professor – 2 positions (Affiliated)
- Assistant Professor – 4 positions (Affiliated or Non-affiliated, Academic or Professional)
- Assistant – 4 positions (Affiliated or Non-affiliated)
Workload Categories for Academic Staff:
The workload for academic staff is divided into the following categories:
A Category – Full-time:
Includes lecture hours (teaching contact hours), non-contact (research) work, and administrative duties for affiliated academic staff.
B Category – Part-time:
Mainly involves teaching contact hours with a small amount of non-contact research work, exam preparation, supervision, and student consultations for affiliated academic staff.
C Category – Part-time:
Includes teaching contact hours, exam preparation, supervision, and student consultations for non-affiliated academic staff.
- A and B categories are available for affiliated academic staff.
- C category is available for non-affiliated academic staff.
Workload and compensation details are outlined in the Academic and Invited Staff Workload Regulations (Appendix 1).
Competition Stages:
- Application Submission: 10.03.2025-17.03.2025
- Interview: March 19, 2025 – March 20, 2025
- Mock Lecture: March 21, 2025
- Final Selection and Contract Signing: March 25, 2025
Criteria for Academic Positions:
Professor
- A doctoral degree or an equivalent academic qualification.
- At least 6 years of teaching and research experience in a higher education institution.
- A conceptual vision for university research and/or educational program development.
- Scientific activity verified by publications in impact-factor journals, presentations at international conferences, and an h-index of at least 3 (based on Google Scholar).
- Experience in implementing scientific or other projects.
- Active involvement in professional development and teaching methodology enhancement.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher (according to the European Qualification Framework).
Associate Professor
- A doctoral degree or an equivalent academic qualification.
- At least 3 years of teaching and research experience in a higher education institution.
- A conceptual vision for developing educational modules or university research.
- Experience in implementing scientific or other projects.
- Scientific activity verified by publications in impact-factor journals, presentations at international conferences, and an h-index of at least 2 (based on Google Scholar).
- Active involvement in professional development and teaching methodology enhancement.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
Assistant Professor (Academic Track)
- A doctoral degree or an equivalent academic qualification.
- Experience in developing or delivering academic courses.
- Scientific publications and presentations at international conferences within the last 10 years.
- Active involvement in professional development and teaching methodology enhancement.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
Assistant Professor (Professional Track)
- A relevant higher education degree in the competition field.
- Expert knowledge of current industry challenges, demonstrated through at least 5 years of managerial or regulatory experience in the field.
- Relevant scientific experience verified by publications and conference presentations.
- A relevant pedagogical vision, demonstrated through a course development plan or at least 1 year of teaching experience.
- Active involvement in professional development and teaching methodology enhancement.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
Assistant
- Must be a PhD candidate in a relevant field.
- Scientific publications and presentations at international conferences within the last 10 years.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
Required Documents:
- Application form for participation in the competition.
- Copy of an identification document (passport or ID).
- Completed application form.
- Two (2) photos (3X4 size) or an electronic version.
- Copy of the academic degree certificate (PhD or equivalent).
- Certificate of completed professional development courses/trainings.
- Course syllabus or course plan for the subject the applicant intends to teach.
- List of scientific publications from the last 10 years (maximum 10 publications), including links or scanned copies for print journals.
- List of presentations at international conferences (maximum 10), including links.
- One scientific paper published within the last 10 years (for Professors and Associate Professors, it must be published in an impact-factor journal).
- Document proving English language proficiency.
- Certificate from the Ministry of Internal Affairs confirming no criminal record related to offenses against sexual freedom and inviolability.
Additional Documents for Professors:
- Conceptual vision for university research or educational program development.
- Documented 6 years of academic experience in a higher education institution.
- Funded scientific or other projects (last 10 years).
- Scientific citation index details.
Additional Documents for Associate Professors:
- Conceptual vision for developing university research or educational program modules.
- Documented 3 years of academic experience in a higher education institution.
- Funded scientific or other projects (last 10 years).
- Scientific citation index details.
Additional Documents for Assistant Professors (Professional Track):
- Document proving managerial or expert experience in the field (at least 5 years).
Additional Documents for Assistants:
- Proof of PhD student status and research direction.
