BAU International University Batumi hosted students and mentors from art universities participating in an international design project who arrived in Georgia for a creative collaboration.

The theme of the project was “Design of Georgian Supra Attributes”. Participants came from BAU Bahçeşehir University (Turkey), Salzburg University of Applied Sciences (Austria), Brno University of Technology (Czech Republic), Tbilisi State Academy of Arts (Georgia), and HFT Stuttgart - University of Applied Sciences (Germany).

The students worked with various materials—textiles, ceramics, glass, metal, and wood—to reinterpret Georgian traditions in a modern design context. The creative process took place under the guidance of experienced mentors.

Guests engaged with the facilities at BAU Batumi, immersing themselves in a dynamic working and creative environment on campus for two days.

As part of the visit, a closed meeting was held with the Vice-Rector of BAU Batumi and representatives from the Student Support and Career Development Department to discuss student opportunities and future collaboration formats.
