On November 14–15, the Rector of BAU International University Batumi, Mrs. Irine Imerlishvili, attended a two-day international conference held at Tbilisi State Medical University titled “Current Issues in Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care.”
The conference brought together representatives from leading clinical and academic centers around the world and aimed to facilitate the exchange of modern clinical approaches, innovative practices, and scientific advancements in the fields of emergency medicine and intensive therapy. The two-day program included thematic sessions, panel discussions, and practical masterclasses, with particular focus on contemporary strategies for sepsis management, therapeutic approaches to respiratory failure, innovative monitoring technologies, and the application of artificial intelligence in critical care medicine.
BAU International University Batumi welcomes such international platforms that contribute to the advancement of medical education, research, and clinical practice, and will continue actively participating in initiatives that support the development of professional competencies and medical education.
