On November 18–19, as part of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building Project – LEADHEGA, an initial working meeting of partner universities was held, hosted by the Batumi State Maritime Academy. Over the course of two days, participants discussed the project’s main directions, including needs analysis, the objectives of the work packages, and the stages of their implementation.

Special emphasis was placed on updating university governance systems, strategic planning practices, the integration of modern pedagogical approaches, and international experience in quality assurance. Over the next 24 months, the LEADHEGA project will support the enhancement of university governance systems, the improvement of strategic processes, and the development of a leadership culture.

BAU International University Batumi will be actively involved in all stages of the project’s activities and will continue to support the strengthening of higher education in the region.
