Public Lecture Titled “Autism 360°: See the World Through My Eyes”

26, Dec 2025

On December 20, Assistant Professor Bela Churchelauri of BAU International University Batumi delivered a public lecture titled “Autism 360°: See the World Through My Eyes” for students of the Magnus Batumi Language School. During the lecture, participants were given the opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of autism, presented not only from a medical perspective but also through a personal lens—that of a parent.

This approach helped students better understand what living with autism means in everyday life. The aim of the meeting was to highlight the diverse ways people perceive the world and to emphasize the importance of inclusivity, empathy, and respect in both educational and social environments. Students actively engaged in the discussion and shared their views on promoting inclusive settings. At the conclusion of the lecture, all participants received certificates of participation.

Special thanks are extended to the organization Changes for Equal Rights for their cooperation and support.
