Mariam Dumbadze, a fifth-year medical student at the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, participated in the European Congress of Endocrinology, held in Prague, Czech Republic, with full funding from BAU International University Batumi.
During the congress, she presented her research titled: “Effects of Exam-Period Lifestyle Changes, Sleep Patterns, and Stress Awareness on Fasting Glucose Levels in Medical Students in Georgia.” Notably, this research has been selected for publication in the official journal of the European Congress of Endocrinology in the near future.
The experience gained in an international scientific environment, along with the opportunity to connect with professionals and exchange ideas, has provided the student with strong motivation to remain actively engaged in research and the broader scientific community in the future.
