Fifth-year Medical Program students of the BAU International University Batumi School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Tariq Elfateh Bushra and Sanabel Darwish, participated in the NeuroCordis Conference 2026, held in Tbilisi on June 6, with the support of the university. During the conference, the students actively engaged in a variety of academic and practical activities.

Tariq Elfateh Bushra won first place in the debate competition, while the student team secured second place in the poster presentation competition. As part of the event, participants attended educational lectures delivered by neurosurgeons and other medical specialists and took part in a hands-on heart dissection workshop, gaining valuable academic and professional experience. We congratulate Tariq Elfateh Bushra and Sanabel Darwish on their achievements and wish them continued success in their future academic and professional endeavors.
