OSCE training for BAU Batumi academic personnel

On February 3-5, 2020 BAU International University Batumi hosted a Director of the Centre for Simulation and Educational Technologies from NAO Medical University of Karaganda Gulshat Kemelova. During her visit, she conducted a training on the following topic: „Methodology for conducting an objective structured clinical exam “.


  1. Professional training of teachers on competency based simulation training”
  2. The environment for simulation training
  3. Success factors for simulation training using high-tech simulators
  4. Evaluation of the results of simulation training
  5. Improving the validity of the assessment of practical skills in the simulation center using various technologies for calculating the final score on the score sheets
  6. The Golden Standard of Assessment
  7. The experience of using a standardized patient in teaching clinical disciplines at the international level

Learning outcomes:

at the end of the training, teachers should have a full understanding of the organization, conduct, and evaluation of an Objective, Structured Clinical Examination.

Gulshat Kemelova conducted the training within the framework of academic personnel mobility based on the memorandum of understanding between the Universities.
