Prof. Dr. Altan Varol, a distinguished medical professional from BAU Global (BAU Istanbul Campus), has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to healthcare by performing a complex surgery free of charge for a 16-year-old patient facing financial difficulties. The patient had suffered from unsuccessful previous operations due to a jaw joint fusion, leaving them in a state of despair.

This remarkable initiative has received widespread recognition in Georgia, highlighting the dedication of BAU Global’s medical professionals to social responsibility and patient care. In appreciation of this invaluable contribution, the Director of BAU International University Batumi, Mr. Hikmet Yıldırım, personally visited the BAU Istanbul (Bahcheshehir University), Faculty of Dentistry to extend the gratitude of the Georgian people and congratulate Prof. Dr. Varol on his outstanding efforts.
