During their studies, a medical student often faces dilemmas and countless questions regarding which specialty to pursue for further education and professional development. You are not alone!BAU's Career Support Service fosters the reveal of students' personal and creative potential, helping them grow into strong leaders. We conditionally divide the study period into 3 phases: Exploration, Decision-Making, and Achieving Success. We believe that through collaboration and continuous communication with students, we can deliver high-quality education and broaden their horizons by offering various activities that inspire them about endless possibilities.
"Exploration Stage" (Years I-III)
From the very first day of study, it is naturally difficult and almost unimaginable for a freshman to have a defined direction for their future career. Mentor - Portfolio Supervisor: From the day of enrollment at the university, you are given the opportunity to connect with a tutor who will guide you and help deepen your knowledge over the next 6 years. The mentor and tutor are professionals who will answer your questions and share their experience throughout these years. Internship and Education: Unlike traditional medical university schedules, BAU's curriculum allows you to participate in clinical visits starting from your second academic year, while also giving you the freedom to register for courses that interest you the most based on your preferences.

To determine which profession suits you best, you must consider many factors. Your skills, capabilities, interests, values, and personal characteristics play a decisive role in finding the right path. In many cases, people facing a choice do not yet know which specialization they want to master; some have certain aspirations, but still struggle to make a final decision. Therefore, the relationship built with your supervisor over the years, along with the advice and recommendations of your tutor/mentor, simplifies the decision-making process.

Achieving Success Stage (Year VI)
Once you have chosen your specialty, the Career Support Service offers services designed to help you better reach your goals. Throughout the six years of study, your mentor, the Dean's Office, and the Student Career Support Service work continuously to ensure that upon graduation, the student is fully prepared for residency.
