Suspension of student status

Suspension of student status implies temporary release from the fulfillment of rights and obligations stipulated by the educational process between the student and the university, the reason for which may be:

  • Personal statement of the student (regardless of the reason);
  • Study in a higher educational institution in a foreign country, except for studying within the framework of an exchange educational program;
  • Pregnancy, childbirth, childcare or deterioration of health;
  • Failure to maintain financial registration (failure to pay tuition fees for the relevant semester);

  • Criminal prosecution, which provides for deprivation of liberty, both before the judgment enters into legal force and after it enters into force.

The maximum period for suspending a student's status is 5 years. After this period, the student's status is automatically terminated.

The tuition fee paid by a person whose status is suspended is not refunded. In the event of restoration of status, the amount paid by him will be considered as the fee for the relevant semester.

Restoration of student status

By personal application
The status of a student whose status has been suspended will be restored based on the student's personal application, if the circumstances that led to the suspension of the status have been eliminated.
