The goals of the Student Self-Government are:

a) to protect the legal rights and interests of students, both in their relations with the University and with third parties;
b) to assist students in strengthening and practical realization of their rights and freedoms;
c) to assist students in receiving a highly qualified education in accordance with international standards and in developing the skills necessary to become competitive personnel;
d) to ensure the involvement of students in both educational and scientific activities, as well as in various socio-cultural, charitable, sports and entertainment events;
e) to assist newly recruited students in adapting and integrating into the University;
f) to contribute to the formation of a diverse and multicultural environment at the University, their representation and the rapprochement of students of different nationalities;
g) To assist students in developing the skills necessary for leadership and change orientation;
h) To identify problems existing at the educational university and develop ways to eliminate them;
i) To ensure, within the scope of its authority, that students are informed of all necessary information.

Based on the goals of student self-government, the rights and duties of student self-government are:

b) Representing and advocating for the interests of students in the decision-making bodies of the educational university and in relations with third parties;
c) Involving the decision-making bodies of the educational university (Academic Council, Faculty Council, etc.) in the activities of the educational university and presenting relevant initiatives;
d) Developing proposals regarding the management of the educational university and the quality of educational and research activities and submitting them to the organizational and structural units of the educational university;
e) Evaluating the activities of the academic and administrative personnel of the educational university and submitting relevant comments to the organizational and structural units of the educational university;
f) Development and organization of trainings, workshops, conferences, debates, discussions, intellectual games and other educational-scientific, socio-cultural, sports, charitable and entertainment events;
g) Establishment of relations with governmental and non-governmental organizations, as well as other local and international student associations and implementation of joint projects;
h) Provision of periodic meetings with students, provision of information on current issues and planned projects, identification of their needs, satisfaction survey and implementation of relevant measures;
i) Implementation of other measures that derive from the goals of student self-government.
