Mobility
BAU International University Batumi admits students through the mobility process in accordance with applicable regulations and Georgian legislation. The mobility process allows students to continue their studies at BAU International University Batumi by transferring from another higher education institution.
Required Documents
Applicants wishing to transfer must submit the following documents to the university:- Academic transcript from the previous university;
- Copy of passport;
- Internationally recognized English language certificate (minimum level — B2)* — required only for graduates/students of non-English taught programs.
Provisional Documentation
Applicants who are still awaiting their final educational documents may submit provisional academic documentation or predicted grades. This documentation enables the university to review the application in advance and issue a conditional acceptance decision.Please note that submitting official and final documentation to the university is mandatory immediately upon receipt.
Application Review and Enrollment
- Upon successfully completing the online application, the submitted documents will be reviewed by the appropriate administrative unit of the university, based on which the applicant will receive a conditional acceptance letter within a maximum of 2 working days.
- Within 5 working days of receiving the conditional acceptance letter, the applicant must pay the application fee — 500 USD.
- Upon confirmation of payment, the university initiates the official recognition of foreign education and enrollment procedure with the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia. This process usually takes up to approximately 3 weeks.
- After receiving final approval from the Ministry, the university issues an official acceptance letter, which can be used to obtain a study visa if necessary.
Registration After Enrollment In accordance with the academic calendar
After enrollment at BAU International University Batumi, all students are required to undergo financial and academic registration at the Student Support and Career Development Department.
