Enver Yücel
Founder
Enver Yücel is the Founder and Chairman of BAU Global and the Bahçeşehir Uğur Educational Institutions (BUEI), Turkey’s largest private education provider. Mr. Yücel is recognized as one of Turkey’s leading educational experts, with contributions spanning from primary education to higher education. His innovative ideas in the field of education have been implemented both in Turkey and internationally.
In 2008, he received the Outstanding Service Award from the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. In 2010, he was honored with the Education Award by the American Turkish Council, and in 2014, he became the first Turkish citizen to receive the UNCA Global Education Award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to global education. The award was presented to Mr. Enver Yücel by the then Secretary-General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon.
