Quality Assurance

The Quality Assurance Department of BAU International University Batumi, in accordance with the University's Quality Assurance Policy, ensures the continuous development of institutional processes and educational programs, as well as compliance with the standards established by the national regulatory authorities.

The Department is responsible for the enhancement of educational and institutional quality and for ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards.
Quality assurance at the University is implemented in accordance with the Quality Assurance Policy. The Policy is aligned with the needs and interests of academic and administrative staff, students, prospective graduates, employers, and other stakeholders.

The Quality Assurance Policy is based on the University's quality assurance framework documents, including the mechanisms for ensuring the quality of educational programs and the teaching and learning process, as well as the procedures for assuring the quality of scientific research activities. In line with the University's strategic development priorities and its commitment to quality, the Policy establishes an updated quality assurance system for both governance and educational activities.

The objective of the University's integrated quality assurance system is to contribute to the development of society and to make a meaningful contribution within the scope of the University's mission and field of activity.
The general objectives of quality assurance include institutional development, transparency, enhanced competitiveness (both at the institutional level and among graduates), and the promotion of the interests and expectations of society and all relevant stakeholders.

Taking these objectives into account, ensuring the quality of teaching and learning represents the University's primary quality assurance objective and is therefore a fundamental component of its overall quality policy.
