1. This provision regulates the powers of the Academic Council of “BAU International University, Batumi” LLC (hereinafter referred to as the “University”), the rules of its formation and activities.
2. The Academic Council carries out its activities on the basis of the legislation of Georgia, the University Charter and Regulations, this Regulation and other internal normative acts.
3. In carrying out its activities, the Academic Council is guided by the standards of the Code of Ethics for Personnel and the following principles of university management:
a) Respect and protection of academic freedom of academic personnel and students;
b) Political neutrality and freedom of speech; c) Justice and equality;
d) non-discrimination and equal treatment, regardless of a person's race, skin color, sex, origin, ethnicity, language, religion, political or other opinion, social affiliation, property or rank, place of residence or other status;
e) publicity and accessibility of information, ensuring the protection of personal data;
f) involvement of academic staff and students in the decision-making process;
