The Vice-Rectors of BAU International University Batumi, Tea Mikeladze and Giorgi Tskhvediani, are participating in the 36th Annual EAIE: European Association for International Education Conference and Exhibition, taking place in Glasgow, Scotland, from September 8 to 11.

The EAIE (European Association for International Education) Conference and Exhibition is one of the largest and most important events in international higher education. Each year, it brings together universities, educational institutions and international education professionals from around the world. BAU International University Batumi is participating alongside Georgia’s leading public and private universities as part of the “Study in Georgia” initiative.

Through this joint platform, Georgian universities present the country’s higher education opportunities, academic programs and prospects for international cooperation to an international audience. This helps promote Georgia’s higher education sector globally and strengthen the country’s position as an international study destination.

Throughout the event, BAU representatives are actively participating in international meetings and professional discussions. Participation in EAIE 2026 is an important strategic component of the university’s internationalization efforts. It strengthens BAU International University Batumi’s global reputation, supports deeper institutional partnerships and creates new opportunities for the university’s engagement in the global education community.
